Donut Forget to Celebrate Every Tiny Victory!
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. Last week, my PSAT scores came in! Now with my scores in hand, I was able to start my SAT Practice on Khan Academy. I know what you’re thinking…why is she doing SAT practice during Christmas Break?
The fact is, I don’t want to spend hours on studying for the SAT. I am hoping that, with just a tiny bit of practice each day, this can give me a slight edge. To help maximize my study time, I signed up with the College Board Opportunity Scholarships program. That’s how I ended up on the Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy. According to Khan Academy, “20 hours of practice on Khan Academy is associated with an average 115-point score increase from the PSAT/NMSQT to the SAT, nearly double the average gain without Khan”. I think that is an awesome way to maximize my study time.
Like with anything, we all need some motivation. What’s your motivation? What keeps me motivated is my dream of one day owning an allergy-friendly Bakery/Cafe. For me, this tiny step of signing up with the College Board is one step forward. Like always, ”donut” forget to celebrate every tiny victory!
