
Choristers Guild
Besides baking, I love music! The choir that I am a part of participated in the annual Choristers Guild Festival. If you are not familiar with the Choristers Guild Festival, it is where children's choirs from all over Southern California gather to perform a variety of songs based on an annual theme. This year's theme was African-American Spirituals or as they put it "The Music of the Soul". The guest director, Victoria Burnett, is a talented singer and master storyteller.

Malibu Creek
I was really excited for this field trip to the Malibu Creek because I have never been on a proper hike. I have been on nature walks, but never really experienced "hiking" unless 'walking and admiring the flowers' count as "hiking". Happy Easter
My Baba (maternal grandmother) passed away six years ago. I miss my Baba very much. Her death anniversary landed in the midst of Passover and Easter this year. I decided that I wanted to make a special donut inspired by her. My Baba's favourite dessert flavours are coconut, marshmallow, and lemon.
